Imagine that you start the day with a playful, gently recharging morning practice of silence, movement, music, and magic to wake up your body and nourish your soul.
Come to your senses in a silent meditation that connects you with the sensuous natural world around and inside you as the sun rises above the mountain or energize and awake your body and soul with joyful movement.
Enjoy your morning coffee or tea with a fresh, nutritious breakfast, catching the first sunbeams on your skin.
Gather on our outside dance space to play. laugh, heal, discover… Immerse yourself into the conscious dance, movement creativity experience of Chakradance.
Around 12:30 pm we will join a delicious nutritious lunch where you will lick your fingers in the family atmosphere of our terrace.
Spend your afternoon alone or with others, whichever feels right for you, walking or hiking in the beautiful surrounding nature, take a dive in the swimming pool or just simply relax in one of the hammocks in our lush olive grove.
Start the evening with a deep healing and whole-body nourishing mantra meditation to regulate your energy field, or let us surprise you. Continue your evening with a mouthwatering dinner. Feel free to enjoy the colorful sunset alone or with others, whichever feels right for you.

Start your night in a moment of silence, reminiscing under the abundant starry skies. On Friday night we will close the journey festively, and integrate and celebrate your personal discoveries.
After this 10-day-immersion, you will have returned to yourself – feeling alive, grounded, connected, and fully recharged, with new discoveries and insights to guide you to feel well in your body and live well in your body.
Retreats are 10 days / 9 nights and start on Friday afternoons and end on Sunday mornings. Most mornings, we will join for meditation practice, and creative immersion into movement, energy cleansing, and creativity focusing on healing specific chakras, themes, and specific parts of ourselves. Most afternoons we will join for a mantra-sounding circle and journalling. After dinner, we will immerse ourselves in a 90-minute Chakradance journey. Each day the morning and evening dance & movement practices focus on a different chakra and area of the body. We move from base to crown to integrate our wisdom centers, discover our inner powers, and re-ignite our inner sparkle.
Our retreats take place with a minimum of 1 person and are limited to a maximum of 5 women to ensure an optimal environment for your sensitive nervous system. An environment that offers tranquility, and space to truly see, hear, acknowledge and support each other.

Guests staying in the cabana or one of the tents share shower and toilet facilities in our building. The tent and the cabana have an eco-toilet nearby as well. The guesthouse has its own facilities. The kitchen and swimming pool in the guesthouse are available for all guests
If you prefer to arrange your own stay, there are many friendly priced Airbnb’s and hotels in the area. There is a variety of choices from very basic to luxury accommodation. We can assist you. Please send us a mail if you prefer this.
For a friendly additional fee, you can book individual hands-on sessions of somatic energetic bodywork with Pingel in the afternoons to transform movement patterns and habits that are limiting energy flow, mobility, ease, release, a sense of pleasure, and vitality.
For an additional fee we offer Airport pick-up & Drop-off:
Malaga Airport (AGP) is at 90 minutes distance from our sanctuary Jardin de Luz.
The most convenient way to travel from Malaga airport to Lanjaron is to have our driver pick you up and possibly also drop you off. We offer this service for an additional fee.
Our driver charges per car not per person. If more people arrive on the same day you will be picked up together to minimize air pollution and costs for you.
Pick up only: A maximum of 90 euro
Pick up and drop off: A maximum of 180 euro
These costs may be lower if we pick up more than one person at a time. You pay directly to the driver.

What is your cancellation policy ?
We use the flexible cancellation policy of Bookretrreats.com. This means that cancellation free of charge is possible until 1 month before the retreat!

We recommend cancellation and travel insurance! Depending on the policy you go for, it could help with delayed, canceled, or missed flights; theft or damage of belongings, and emergency healthcare.
In the rare case that we have to cancel the retreat due to force majeure, we will arrange suitable replacement where possible and in consultation. In case of cancellation on our part, you will receive your payment to us back. We do not refund airfare costs and costs for accommodation other than what we offer.
Are there other ways of transport to go to Jardin de Luz?
Yes, but you need to arrange them by yourself. You can:
1. Rent a car at the airport
The easiest way to get from Malaga airport to Lanjaron is to drive. If you want a little more freedom to go wherever you want, you can rent a car at the airport relatively cheaply. Do check if you need an international driver’s license to drive in Spain. For EU citizens it is not obliged.
2. Use Public transport by bus company ALSA
Another possibility is to use public transport. From Malaga Airport, you’ll first need to travel by a direct bus line to the coastal town of Almuñecar. This bus goes several times a day.
At the modest bus station in Almuñecar, you’ll need to take another bus to Lanjaron. This bus only runs twice a day most of the year. In Lanjarón we will pick you up at the bus station. All retreat participants will receive our WhatsApp numbers in advance to contact us upon arrival or as needed. Ticket booking and exact timetables can be found on the website of the public transport provider ALSA. We can assist you at any time.
Will this retreat be for me if I am experiencing tension, stress, and low energy?
Yes! This retreat is especially suitable for people that experience stress, tension, strain, and low energy. My own experience as a former over-exhausted person with lots of tension and pain inspired me to create this week’s program. I weave together my knowledge of how the human body is meant to move and how the brain works with my body awareness and sensory IQ to guide you into movement that is both healing and gently recharging body, mind, emotions, and spirit.
I am over fifty years old. Can I join?
Yes, of course. I have had people in their seventies in my regular classes. In this retreat, you are encouraged to move according to your own comfort and ability. The purpose is to fully engage your body’s resources for sensation, movement, and pleasure, without causing harm through your actions. You will discover how to follow the Body’s Way. Which is to learn, appreciate and respect what your body tells you is true.
What is included in this retreat?
Are there possibilities for private sessions?
Yes, you can book 60-minute private sessions with Pingel in the afternoons. You pay a friendly price for these (extra) sessions.
How long are the group sessions?
The NIA morning class is 60 minutes, morning group sessions are 2 hours including a coffee break. In the morning expect a mix of expressive movement and creativity.
Evening group sessions are 1,5 hours. Expect a combination of mindful movement in sitting or lying down, dance meditation, energy work, and creativity.
I don’t like to dance. Is this suitable for me?
Depending on your definition of dance. You are mostly moving on music through free expression, simple movement variations, and gentle conditioning. Don’t expect complicated dance steps or difficult combinations.
